Description

The Victorian Trauma Grand Round is a collaborative initiative to provide a forum for healthcare professionals involved in acute trauma care in Victoria to explore and debate all aspects of trauma management. The program will promote collaborative efforts and networking among members of the trauma community, and showcase trauma care in Victoria.

Each quarter a grand round event will be hosted by a major Victorian trauma care provider. This event will be presented by the Royal Children's Hospital.

In this Victorian Trauma Grand Round we will explore the spectrum of paediatric head injury through the linking of the latest clinical evidence with case based analysis. We will provide practical guidance on best practice throughout the patient journey from pre-hospital to rehabilitation.

This is a free event.

Accredition

The VTGR will be accredited by several professional colleges for CME/CNE/CPD. (Refer to the VTGR website for details).

Seating

There are 250 seats available in Ella Latham Auditorium. Once these seats are filled additional attendees will be seated in in the Vernon Collins Lecture Theatre (just around the corner from Ella Latham Auditorium) with a live video feed. Note that seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis on the night, so you are advised to be early.
